2. Соберите коллекцию из не менее девяти морских животных, обитающих у побережья, включая следующих:
   • Три вида крабов
   • Один вид морской звезды
   • Любые пять животные, перечисленных в требовании №1. Твердотельные животные, такие как крабы, морские звезды и хитины можно умертвить в пятипроцентном растворе формальдегида или 70-процентном растворе алкоголя, и затем высушить на огне. Солнечные лучи приведут к обесцвечиванию цветов.
   • Мягкотелые животные необходимо содержать в трехпроцентном растворе формальдегида или 70-процентном растворе алкоголя. Если коммерческие формалин используется вместо формальдегида, тогда процент раствора необходимо удвоить.

   • The octopus belongs to the phylum Mollusca. Which two animals listed in requirement l are related to the octopus?
   • Starfish, sea cucumber, and sea urchin all belong to the phylum Echinodermata. Why is that? (ClueCfind out what "Echinodermata" means.)
6. Give an oral report on two of the following activities:
   • Visit a seashore at night and by means of a flashlight observe the activity of animals on shore and in the water. Notice thousands of plants and animals visible when the beam of light is directed into the water. These minute organisms are called plankton.
   • Tow a fine‑mesh cloth or regular plankton net through the water and observe through a microscope the many tiny animals and plants that are collected.
   • Select three specimens under No. 1 that are important economically. Explain.
